There is something for everyone. Check out the International Open Access Week website for more details!
This week our professor asked our class to locate an article in the news on archives and their use of technology. Instead of scouring the internet I went to the SJSU SAASC Delicious account and found a great article that worked perfectly and it took me under 5 minutes to find my gold!

The SJSU SAASC has started a Delicious account to function as a platform for SJSU SAASC members to share the interesting things they find online about the archival world with the rest of their colleagues. The result is an amazing collaborative resource (a sort of informal database) for members that can serve a variety of purposes. Members can use the Delicious account to read articles about archives in the news, to spark assignment topics, to create visualizations like tag clouds and much more. Tagging is an important component of Delicious. Consistent tags allow members to filter the data and narrow down searches on particular topics of interest.
Not sure what Delicious is? Wondering how you can become a contributing member of the SJSU SAASC Delicious account? See the Delicious User-Guide for SJSU SAASC Members located in the "Files" section of the Canvas site to find out more. Questions about the SJSU SAASC Delicious account should be forwarded to: Catherine Folnović (Technology Coordinator), [email protected] Please join us for our annual SJSU SAASC Member Meeting on October 7 at 6 pm PST! Not a member of SJSU SAASC? Signing up is easy on the iSchool Advising Site and membership is free! Join SJSU SAASC today and introduce yourself on the discussion board!
