Get a behind-the-scenes tour of the San Francisco Public Library's Teen Center led by Teen Center librarians! iSchool Connext is coordinating this event in collaboration with the SFPL librarians that have graciously offered to speak about all of the programming, resources and fun the center has to offer. Great for those interested in teen/ youth services, but others welcome to join us.
Date: Thursday, December 1st
Where: The San Francisco Public Library (100 Larkin Street, SF. The teen center is located on the 2nd floor of the library.)
Note: Please arrive on time because the library closes at 8p and they want to give a full tour!!
CALL FOR PROPOSALS!
Personal Digital Archiving (PDA) 2017 will be held on the Stanford campus in Palo Alto, CA, from March 29-31, 2017.
For those who have not attended before, this conference is a great opportunity to learn about current and emerging trends in personal digital archiving from digital archivists, tool and service developers, independent researchers, and others engaged in the collection, preservation, and study of data shedding light on individuals, their families, and their communities.
We highly encourage proposal submissions by current SJSU students -- and would also love to have strong attendance by SJSU students and alumni!
Have you worked on an innovative project or program related to personal information management or digital archiving? Submit your proposal by November 25th!
